On March 3rd, Brian and I traveled to Pakistan for a conference called "Social Intervention 2012: A Better Tomorrow for the Coming Generation". This is a collection of our experiences before, during, and after the trip and a report on the public intervention artworks that follow.

Jinnah University for Women

On Friday, Brian engaged students and faculty in a discussion about Adolescent Development at Jinnah University for Women. As has been our experience throughout this entire visit to Pakistan, we were overwhelmed by their exceptionally warm welcome.

Jinnah University for Women is the first all-women's university in Pakistan. It awards undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in 22 departments across the Natural Sciences and Humanities. Over 3000 young women are currently enrolled. As envisioned by its founder, the University remains a "non-profit" organization so that family finances do not take precedence over education.
